Sleep as monk but comfortable
If you are unable to pay for one of the de luxe hotels Brugge, you can always find a few hotels in Bruges which are absolutely inexpensive. Those budget hotels in Bruges haved to be looked for but are certainly worth the money. As Bruges is a very touristic city and there are too few hotels in Brugge, it results that there are many budget hotels in Brugge of excellent quality.
A few examples
Hotel Notre Dame in Bruges is one of the only 1 star hotels in Bruges and is located in the historic city centre. This hotel would, when you enter it not seem like a 1 star hotel in Bruges because it is almost always full booked and thus has an excellent management. This hotel is certainly worth the money and is good choice as a budget hotel in Brugge.
Hotel Asiris in Bruges is a 2 star hotel in Bruges with an excellent reputation. Ideally situated and priced for the backpakkers amongst us. The hotel is situated at a 10 minute walk of the Main Market Square and the walk takes you through the beautiful surroundings of the curling alleys and will show you a part of Bruges where the normal visitor never would come.

Bruges, a city to come back to!
Visit Brussels and Antwerp from Bruges
Both Brussels and Antwerp are about 1 hour away from Bruges. Personally i do believe it is best to choose Bruges as a base opposed to hotels Brussels or hotels Antwerp. One will absolutely be more charmed by the hotels in Bruges than Brussels. Unless you have the possibility of staying in a luxury hotel in Brussels or a luxury hotel in Antwerp, that could be preferred as there a few 5 star hotel in Brussels which are absolute bargains during the weekend.
Brussels

Brussels is as the European Capital an absolute must-see during your stay in Brussels Belgium. The Royal Palace, The Grand Place, Manneken Pis are all very well known names when you are talking about Brussels. If you decide to stay a few nights in a hotel Brussel it is best to have a good look on the map where your hotel Brussel is actually situated as Brussels is quite big and hotel accommodation is numerous. You don’t wanna end up at the other end of the town is all your places of interest are 5 to kilometers away.
Antwerp

Antwerp is another Belgium city that has a lot to offer to visitors. Choose a good hotel in Antwerpen because Antwerp is different than Brussels or Bruges. Many Hotels Antwerpen are situated outside the city centre so have a good look on the city map. If you are looking for a budget hotel in Antwerp, I would recommend the hotel Rubenshof who has a very charming atmosphere.
